I’ve looked all over the place, and I can’t find it! I’ve heard that once you have a baby you don’t remember things as well, whether it’s due to hormones or just having a lot more to think about. Thinking about 2 people instead of 1 is certainly a lot more work. Maybe that’s it. I just can’t remember where I put it.
I didn’t even have to pass a test first! They let me put this fragile, dependent life in my car and drive him home, and I didn’t even have to prove I’m a capable parent! Certainly they wouldn’t have done that without sending him home with a manual of some sort. An instruction booklet, a number to call when I KNOW I’m being a bad parent but don’t know how to be a better one, SOMETHING! Oh well, if it ever existed, it’s gone now. I guess we’ll just have to wing it. Pray for us!
