True Love Never Forgets

George made the long trip to New Mexico with us to visit GrannySan for the July 4th holiday, which apparently was the car ride of death because George hasn’t been seen since. We were a little worried about how Jim-Jim would react to George being M.I.A. because he’s slept with him every night since, oh, birth, but we decided not to make a big deal about it. And that plan was working fabulously until one day, months after his disappearance, Jim tried to put the boy down for a nap. Jim-Jim said, “Where’s George, Daddy?” Based on Jim’s stunned silence, Jim-Jim determined George wasn’t going to be making an appearance, and he erupted like only a two-year-old can! His broken heart was too much to bear, so we broke down and got him a new, improved replacement George.
